Armchair Birding at the Busato Home

Directions:  237 Hornertown Rd, Scottdale. 724- 887-9210. Take the Scottdale Exit off 119S. Make a left off the exit ramp onto 819 S toward Scottdale. Take a right at the light onto W Pittsburgh St. and follow it through the 2nd light, past the Post Office and Dollar General, for about 2 miles. Turn left onto Hornertown Rd. then into the driveway of the second stone-facade house on the right.

Description: Enjoy backyard birds and good company from the great indoors at the Busato House. Arrive any time between 9:00am and 3:00pm at your convenience. Potluck-style snacks, hors d’oeuvres, and beverages are also encouraged! Feeders will be stocked and hopefully full of backyard favorites. We often have many White-crowned Sparrows and occasional Rusty Blackbirds as well. Around lunch time, we can also take a walk through the adjacent farm fields for some variety. Northern Harriers and Wild Turkey are also regulars. There is no rain date, this event will continue in bad weather for those interested. Hope to see you there!
