Eight members persevered through a chill wind, snow, sleet and general wet conditions on this 2 1/2 hour outing. Their reward? --- 34 species on the water, through the shrubs, in the air, and at the feeders. Surprise of the day was a large red-tailed hawk that swooped across my windshield and landed roadside on the drive exiting the campus. The bird list and approximate quantities are:
