Club Picnic

SUMMER

Every summer or very early fall WBNC has a club picnic. The picnic is usually combined with a walk near the picnic location. We have done dragonfly walks around marshes, moth-ing at dusk, bird walks or tree and plant walks. The picnic is a social event. In years past the club provided the meat and everyone brought a dish or dissert. The locations vary from Keystone State Park, Bushy Run Battlefield Park and last year the Westmoreland Conservation District Barn Pavilion (outside). Usually, we have a short business meeting since we have many members present. The location, date and time will be announced in the WBNC Syrinx Newsletter as well as on our Facebook page. ere…
